Tiger Woods took a trip at the weekend when he caddied at Torrey Pines golf course.
He took the US Open crown for the third time at the San Diego course back in June.
But this time the world number one was carrying the golf bag and golf clubs instead of playing with them, as became caddie to a winner John Abel through a round at the Californian venue.
The 59 year old publishing worker joined the Tee it Up with Tiger promotion and he was gifted the Nike #1 Golf star as his caddie for that memorable day.
Regarding his knee injury, Tiger Woods said he has not been able to resume full practice for now.
The world number one told to the San Diego’s Union-Tribune newspaper: “I don’t know how I’ll be ramping up and what my surgeons will allow. I can walk and do all of this stuff. That’s easy. It’s the rotational stuff that’s going to be different.”
Rather going to play few rounds at one of the golf courses in the country, South Korean golfers are going to the sport’s virtual version.
According to Business Week, there are 300,000 South Koreans who regularly play at special golf cafes dedicated to the pastime.
Kim Wonil, chief officer of Golfzon, told that he expects there to be about 12,000 golf simulators populating some 3,000 ’screen golf cafes’.
Business Week’s Moon Ihlwan tried to explain the trend: “It’s easy to understand why the demand is so great: Korea is a very very expensive place where to play golf the old-fashioned way.
“It costs you about $300 (£190) per person and per round, tee times are very hard to secure, and joining a country golf club could burn you a $500,000 (£321,000) hole in wallet.”
Typical food and refreshments that is served in a screen golf cafe are fried chicken and beer.

I had one major problem - I couldn’t find where all my balls where going. I had hit them and couldn’t find any of them. They just - vanished. Finally I put on my sung-lasses and I really tried to follow the ball. I immediately realized why I couldn´t find them.
